Since starting in May 2022, Cia has dedicated herself to prosecuting a range of cases, advocating for justice and supporting victims within our community. Cia finds her role fulfilling because it allows her to serve the community and because it has given her a chance to grow through a supportive work family and continuous learning opportunities. Cia’s proudest moments in her career come from helping victims of serious offenses find justice and restoring their faith in the legal system. Outside the courtroom, Cia is a major Rick Astley fan! She knows nearly 100 of his songs by heart, has attended his concerts, and enjoys a good Rick-Roll every now and then. 🚧 Happy National County Government Month Saline County's Road and Bridge Department recently assisted a group of KU students on a KTRAN research project aimed at improving our rural road surfaces. With over 100,000 miles of county roads- many surfaced with materials that require frequent upkeep- this project seeks to introduce better standards for durability and maintenance. The study focuses on enhancing aggregate materials like crushed stone to decrease maintenance and extend road life. 🤝Together, we're paving a smoother future for Saline County! #NationalCountyGovernmentMonth #NCGM

🌟 Celebrating Our County Stars🌟 In honor of National County Government Month, today we shine the spotlight on Shelly Driscoll, Administrative Assistant at Salina Senior Services. Shelly has been with us for over 3 years, assisting with both accounts receivable and payables, and lending a hand in the dining room during the busy lunch periods. She also keeps track of all the activities at the Senior Center. Shelly embraces with enthusiasm citing its balance between work and family life and for the valuable connections she makes within the community. What Shelly wishes more people knew about the Senior Center is the breadth of activities and the quality of meals offered. She takes pride in the tight-knit community they’ve cultivated, where patrons know they always have a place for food and fellowship. This sense of community is what makes Shelly most proud of her work. Outside of her duties, Shelly’s life is full of joy and simple pleasures. She lives with her husband and their three dogs, and treasures the times when she can get together with her three sons and two grandchildren. Join us in thanking Shelly for her dedication and for making the Salina Senior Center a warm and welcoming place for all. 🌷🍽️👵🏼 #ForwardTogether #NationalCountyGovernmentMonth #NCGM
