🚧 Happy National County Government Month Saline County's Road and Bridge Department recently assisted a group of KU students on a KTRAN research project aimed at improving our rural road surfaces. With over 100,000 miles of county roads- many surfaced with materials that require frequent upkeep- this project seeks to introduce better standards for durability and maintenance. The study focuses on enhancing aggregate materials like crushed stone to decrease maintenance and extend road life. 🤝Together, we're paving a smoother future for Saline County! #NationalCountyGovernmentMonth #NCGM
