Event Description: “Be Prepared” for Valentine’s Day! Salina’s Troop 5 Boy Scouts will hold a Sweetheart Chili/Chicken Noodle Supper on Sun., Feb. 14, from 5-7 pm in the Kansas Wesleyan University Cafeteria (Claflin & Highland). The cost is only $6 per adult, $3 per child under 13, and $3 per college student with a valid college i.d. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance from any Troop 5 Boy Scout or leader. The meal includes a choice of chili or chicken noodles, veggies, a drink, and dessert! So it’s a “full-meal deal”… homemade food WITH DESSERT … for the price of fast food! New this year are a Silent Auction, Sweetheart Portraits, and Roses! The Silent Auction will include photography and artwork by Troop 5 boys and leaders, along with items donated by local businesses. Sweetheart Portraits and roses will be available for purchase, too! So you can surprise your sweetie with dinner, sweetheart portraits, roses, and silent auction items --- all at very reasonable prices --- and all proceeds will help support the Boy Scouts.
